A varied program of dance occurs every Sunday in an enjoyable, relaxed, welcoming and supportive environment.
At the moment lessons are conducted by our guest dance instructors, John and Jean from Breakaways, supported by senior, experienced members of Just Rock Toowoomba.
Instruction is given in 4 Step and 8 Step Rock and Roll and a range of Rock and Roll Partner, Fun and Line Dances.
Classes are divided into two levels: beginner and intermediate.
Dancers should wear suitable shoes. Smooth soled shoes are recommended. Rubber soles and joggers are not suitable as they can stick to the floor and cause ankle and knee injuries. Due to the speed of the music, lower heels are recommended for the ladies.
An Information sheet will be given to you at your first lesson.
Cost of Sunday afternoon lessons is $12.50 for members and $15 for non-members (first lesson $5). Tea & Coffee supplied. The laughter, fun, friendship come free of charge.
